„What you do with passion will be successful“. True to his motto, Thomas Conrad founded his own event technology company in 1993, starting in Karlsfeld close to Munich with 4 employees and an area of 200sqm.


Our company continues to grow and larger premises become necessary. So the company moves to it's new facilities Dachau, which offer around 1400sqm storage space.

Renting lighting and rigging technology becomes more and more important. 



CONRAD fully specialses in the rental of event technology and starts as one of few companies in the „Dry Hire“ segment.


On the move again. This time to Bergkirchen-Gada one of the best places in southern Germany to be in terms of logistics. Planning to construct a new company owned building starts.


Operational start of the company owned storage area in close proixmity to Munich, in Bergkirchen-GADA.



Move into the offices and official opening of the CONRAD company head office in Bergkirchen-GADA. In total 3500sqm offer place for storage, offices, workshop-, and service areas. 10 loading ramps are available for smooth loading and unloading.


Opening of the first CONRAD subsidiary in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) with approx. 1.100 sqm space. Closer proximity and better service to our customers in western and northern parts of Germany and the Benelux countries.



The COVID pandemic leads to a freeze in operations of the NRW subsidiary.


Resumption of operations in the new NRW subsidiary location in Hilden with approx. 1500sqm storage space.


Change of name: CONRAD Licht & Rigging Support GmbH becomes COrental Dry Hire GmbH
